Disney Book Tag!

Aloha guys!
So today, I discovered the Disney book tag and, me as a total Disney fanatic, had to do it!
I am not quite sure but I think the tag was created by Katytastic on YouTube. I love her videos you should check her out!

  • 1. The Little Mermaid – a character who is out of their element, a “fish out of water”
For this I’ll have to go with Katniss in Catching fire. She is forced into fancy clothes and she has to act for the Capitol to be one of them.
  • Cinderella – a character who goes through a major transformation
Totally Day from Legend. In the beginning of the book, he is the most wanted criminal and throughout the books everything changes for him.
  • Snow White – a book with an eclectic cast of characters
Definitely have to go with the cast of Six of Crows! I never was so entertained by characters of a book!
  • Sleeping Beauty – a book that put you to sleep
Love Rosie…. Yeah wasn’t really my cup of tea. And the movie was sooo much better! I think it’s also because the whole book is written in letters and messages and so on. There wasn’t really a plot and I also couldn’t relate to the characters as much as in the movie.
  • Beauty and the Beast – A beast of a book (a big book) that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful
I was extremely intimidated by Outlander (by Diana Gabaldon). I read this book in  German and it has more than 1000 pages! I’m still reading it but I’m not intimidated anymore because the love story is so beautiful!
  • The Lion King – a character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood
This has to be Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles.
But let’s be honest, what character didn’t have something traumatic happen to them?
  • Aladdin – a character who gets their wish granted, for better or worse
I actually haven’t read a book, that would suit here 😀
  • Mulan – a character who pretends to be someone or something they are not
Daemon Black from the Lux series. Can’t say much here 😀
    SPOILER :
He pretends to be human but we all know he’s not. Besides that, he’s to hot to be human. Okay just kidding 😀
  • Toy Story – a book with characters you wish would come to life
I’ll have to go with the whole Shadowhunter universe. how cool would it be if the shadowhunters and downworlders would exist?
  • Disney Descendants – your favorite villain or morally ambiguous character
The whole group of Kaz Brekker’s crew from Six of Crows. They are just awesome!

  1. What a fun and clever tag. Six of Crows was the PERFECT pick for the “eclectic characters,” category. I have GOT to read Legend–it’s moving fast up my TBR.
